"American Panorama is an historical atlas of the United States for the twenty-first century. It combines cutting-edge research with innovative interactive mapping techniques, designed to appeal to anyone with an interest in American history or a love of maps: Mapping Inequality: Redlining in New Deal America (1935-1940), The Forced Migration of Enslaved People (1810-1860), The Overland Trails (1840-1860), Foreign-Born Population (1850-2010), and Canals (1820-1860). merican Panorama is an ongoing project. In the coming months we'll be adding maps on redlining during the Great Depression, on urban renewal in postwar America, on presidential voting—with more to come after that."
